Painted on August 1, 2021. Unbeknownst to me a storm was coming in from the opposite direction of where I was facing. What started to be a beautiful serene morning turned sour in a hurry just as I was finishing this up. Luckily I got the art in the car before heavy rain started, but got completely soaked by the time I packed the car and the bike on the rack. Once I got home I realized I had a raincoat in the car. Ooops. I touched this up at home once I had fresh eyes and realized the sculler was a little small as originally painted.
